This review is from: A Wonderful Life (Audio CD)
This album is not a patch on her first English-language album (called 'Lara Fabian'). The songs are 'samey' and she does not use that amazing voice of hers.I also have '9', the new french-language album, it is also disappointing but it does at least have some life in it. 'Wonderful Life' does not. I have read elsewhere that this album was supposed to 'break' the US for Lara Fabian (apparently it didn't). It is amazing how many great artists, or their producers/managers, seem to think that dumbing down their music will somehow appeal to the US buyer. P.S. Anyone else notice that Gary Barlow co-wrote many of the songs... Comments

well my review predates yours by over a year and I mentioned Gary Barlow then! Couldn't disagree with you more. Anyone who loved the first English CD will NOT be disappointed by this second one. You are being over critical.
