This review is from: TomTom Multi Sport Cardio GPS Watch - Black (Electronics)
I purchased this watch as I am training for Triathlons and I can't fault it.
The Heart Rate monitor works fine as long as you have the watch strap nice and snug. I have bony wrists, yet find it completely comfortable and light to wear.
The GPS works within seconds most of the time, although I occasionally have to wait for a while longer, but that's not much of a problem for me as the areas it struggles in are generally bad for reception on other gps devices too.
I use it for cycling, running and swimming and the recently added "freestyle" option which I use for general gym stuff and circuit training which is great because it keeps track of your heart rate/mileage stats without ruining your statistics for the three core activities.
I've found it works really well with no issues for every activity. The only small gripe I have is that you can't track your heart rate whilst swimming. You can cheat it by using freestyle, but you can't get a lap/stroke count if you're in the pool. Hopefully TomTom will enable this soon?
It connects seamlessly to TomTom's own fitness website and MapMyFitness.com and is apparently now useable on Endomondo, but Ive not tried it yet. You can download the files for use on other sites and software too, although I've not explored this option yet because the stats are displayed in nice easy to read graphs on TomTom and MapMyFitness and it suits my purposes fine.
