One of the self-help books really worth bothering with,

I have, over the decades, been a bit of a sucker for self-improvement literature. It's more popular than ever, so no matter how "brilliant" some books claim to be, there is an awful lot of derivative recycled advice out there. There are people worth paying attention to - Tony Robbins, Fiona Harrold, you may wish to add another favourite or two to those names (Peter Jones, perhaps, author of How to Do Everything and Be Happy; maybe Paul McKenna? Stephen Covey?) - but if asked whether any of these kinds of books had actually changed something about my life, I would say that was true about only three of them, out of the dozens I have read. This book is one of them. I recommend it unreservedly.
