FANTASTIC FUN... Or a little secret hidden?,
This review is from: Speedy Eggbert (Video Game)
This game is just amazing. Yes, it sounds a bit cheesy to be running around as a yellow egg collecting keys and chests, but really, this game is annoyingly fun. When this game first came out, I used to stay up fighting as that little egg all night on my old Windows 98 machine.
Sadly though, as fun as the game is, its almost unplayable because of a BIG SECRET eGames has been hiding in this game.
In the game's executable file, there is hidden a nasty piece of Adware known as the TSadbot file. This little Adware software is designed to report back to a server someplace in the US and tell them your Browsing Habits. Once they have enough information, TSadbot will show you Adverts, or Popups that are very difficult to get rid of, appearing randomly in the middle of anything you could be doing. However, now its 2011, the server is long since dead.... but that doesn't mean its safe to install. If you have any good antivirus software, it will stop you being able to play Speedy Eggbert at all, because its blocking the TSadbot file from launching with the game. Also, if it does manage to run and fails to contact its server, it will ramp up your CPU usage to 100%, slowing your Computer down by a LARGE amount.
Sadly, as fun as the game is, I can't recommend it for the safety of your Computer.
Good news, Speedy Eggbert 2 is completely clean! Go get that one!

Thanks for that very helpful review, which avoided some trouble for me. Someone asked me to install this and their anti-virus software rang alarm bells. I was trying to figure out whether it might be a false positive and therefore safe to install, but a quick Google of "Speedy Eggbert adware/virus" led me to your review.
