Lovely little Moulds - shame about the contact with supplier,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Alan Silverwood Small Dariole Mould 95ml capacity set of 4 (Kitchen & Home)
I ordered 12 of these little moulds and found them on Amazon for a very good price, so went ahead and ordered them, about a week later they came (good job I wasnt in a hurry !!) anyhow only 9 arrived !! with poor packaging,( a bubble envelope) and no order confirmation in the envelope and no note to say why there were only 9... so after scouring Amazon for the contact telephone number for this company, I called them, and the first person who answered couldnt even speak english, and just passed the phone to someone else, I explained that I was 3 Dariole moulds short and the guy (who was actually very nice) said sorry and that he would send the other 3 moulds by the end of that week (this was on monday), Friday came and my other 3 moulds arrived, (the whole order took 2 weeks to arrive) might i say in the same poor packaging, thank god the Dariole moulds are quite robust, anything smaller or fragile would not have survived the poor packaging.
The only other thing I would like to add is that ALL my other Silverwood bakeware have the "Silverwood" logo on them.. these Dariole moulds do NOT.. so made me wonder if these were really the actual "Silverwood" Moulds or a "cheaper version" !!!
Like they say in life... "you only get what you pay for"... very true. Would I buy from these people again.. NO.. however the Alan Silverwood Small Dariole Moulds are lovely, if in fact they are actually "Silverwood" ones.. !!

They sound just what I am looking for but a bigger size. Cookbooks vary in their instructions. Some say Size 1 or Size 2 d. moulds or holding 170 ml or 8 cm dia. x 2.5 cm deep. I don't know where to look.
