From bourgeoning shelves full of cook books and cuttings, this book is the one that has proved the most reliable for delivering authentic and varied Italian pasts dishes - especially good for weekdays. The recipes are presented by main ingredient - whatever is in season, or whatever your fancy, there is usually a good recipe. We have bought this book a dozen times for presents; we even take it on our holidays! The illustrations are an added bonus.
