As good as ever,
This review is from: The Walking Dead - Season 4 [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
Just as good as ever. 1st half of season is great. The 2nd half is very interesting too because it deals more with character development and is a little unpredictable because they haven't got the security of the prison any longer.
Ignore negative reviews, for every 1 person that moans about it there are another 100 that love it.

...also... another post states that the majority of the episodes are not up to scratch with previous seasons. It's pretty obvious that if every episode is full blown carnage, people getting bitten with every step, the show would lose it's authenticity and it's real life feel, which is the reason it is so appealing to many in the first place.

A very valid point lost on the "video gameboy" types who are only in it for the blood & guts.

i also enjoy the walking dead but i feel now after a great season 4 its time to put it to bed instead of another season lets have a two hour final episode to end it while it is at its best and not have it drag on so the episodes go down hill and it is dropped due to bad ratings as other shows have found to there cost

Horror King: Don't be silly. One of the best shows in many a long year, that's going from strength to strength and is growing in popularity with each passing season - and you want to kill it. Go and feed yourself to your local zombies now. Thank you.

riley if you read what i wrote you will see i said i love the walking dead but i would rather see it go out on a high than go down hill no one would be more pleased than me if they could keep this story line up but there will be a point when they will not be able to and i would rather see it go before then and go out with a bang and you say its growing in popularity but this has not stopped them in the past pulling the plug on a show remember star trek planet of the apes outer limits and many many more or lets have walking dead the movie

HK - why are you still walking around undevoured?!
Whether and for how long they are able to keep it up depends entirely on the writers, but the graphic novels show no sign of slowing down so there looks like being plenty of source material to tap into there for quite some time to come (even though the TV show deviates in varying degrees from the graphic novels).
I don't know about the viewership history for Outer Limits, and I don't know if you're referring to the original 60s show that ran for (I think) 5 seasons or the '90s/'00s revival that ran for 7 seasons. But I do know that both Star Trek and Planet Of The Apes were both canned due to poor viewing figures. It was only later that they became popular "cult" shows. It was real shame about POTA in particular, it was never given a fair chance to build an audience and was axed after only half a season.

i am still walking around undevoured because i would leave to much of a bad taste even for a zombie yes i did mean the 60s outer limits which lasted for two seasons i must agree with you it was a shame about planet of the apes it was a great show as i wrote about a two hour climax show for the walking dead or a movie i take that back at least the movie part anyway that due to overkill zombie movies are now as good as dead at the box office no pun meant just look how that bloody awful world war z big money flop did after all it takes more than a big budget to make a good movie just look at night dawn and day of the dead these movies were made on a very low budget and there have been many many movies made even still today both on tv and on the big screen which try to better them but never do so i hope you are right about there being plenty of source material having never read the novels and if this is right i for one will be watching as i think you will to after all once you see a great season like 4 you get a taste for it

Why leave spoiler comments on a to be released DVD! Some people may not have seen the series and are just looking for pricing and happen to glance down.
