Interesting....but a little "Fluffy",
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Victorians [DVD] (DVD)
it has some definitely interesting parts,,but would have preferred more in depth and thorough study of the Industrial Revolution and why it happened in Britain as well as more in depth study of the numerous factory towns and the different types of factories and cities that developed very quickly (more than just Glasgow, Manchester, & London, etc) ,how the average person went from working on farms to working in coal mines, on rail roads,,and how a fast developing "middle upper class " developed and began working in offices , becoming "legal teams"..,managing expansion of trade ... trade with distant markets .. an example of the "Fluff"..was the section about how 1 Victorian photography "artist" snuk models into his home without his wife's knowledge to take naked pictures and showed photographs of them.etc ..seemed to deviate away from what the main study should have been. And to "entertain" more than inform.
