I am not an economist so I found this hard going but it seems to be saying that there is a power struggle between politicians and big business and we poor piggies in the middle are losing out as wealth is going to the huge global multi-nationals. Keynes is well and truly dead apparently. Neoliberalism or deregulation reigns supreme. Small businesses can go to hell as they waste resources! Love your big bosses and they will look after you. The bankers allegedly had an attitude that they would have preferred a game of golf to dealing with the financial crisis. The banks failed but have been bailed out. This shows us that power lies with the huge corporations who pretend to care for the ordinary customer but in reality are laughing all the way to their own gigantic banks. The shareholder is king and the poor and getting poorer customer is merely a pawn in the game of chess between different politicians and C.E.O's.
