80's 12" - 72 Original Hits,
This review is from: Original Hits - 80s 12'' (Audio CD)
The 1980's was the decade of the 12 inch single (yes, I know they started in the mid-seventies, but they really came into their own in the eighties).
Fir a bit more money you could have an extended version of your favourite tracks, plus they were usually remixed to cater for the disco dancers, as we can see from the number of `dance mixes'.
There were `Special Extended Dance Mixes' (Don't You Want Me by The Human League), `Ultimate Dance Mixes (Culture Club's The War Song) and any number of other mixes.
Paul Hardcastle's 19 was spectacular in it's 12" format, as was Duran Duran's Reflex and Power Station's Some Like It Hot.
Quite a lot of these singles has special sleeves and over the years have become collectable and are expensive.
So why bother searching and stumping up huge quantities of wonga if you only want to listen again to these great sounds? They're all hear for a ridiculously low price.
