Effective...but how many?!,

I've been taking them for a few weeks now and I really have noticed that my recovery is faster. I don't have sore muscles for half as long any more (my legs used to be the worst). The only thing is that it says to take 4 before and 4 after exercise! I go to the gym two times a day Mon-Fri and I definitely won't be going through 16 a day! I've been taking 2 or 3 (depending on the intensity of my workouts)ONLY AFTER workouts because I read up on BCAAs and the evidence for benefits for pre-workout are very limited.
Overall, it's cheaper than the alternatives and does seem to work but if you look at the context of how many you have to take if you want to follow the guidelines for the product, it may not be as good value.
