Good, But not Cheese & Wine,
This review is from: The Origin of Species (Annotated) (Literary Classics Collection Book 34) (Kindle Edition)
One Christmas Eve whilst drinking absinth alone in my shed (Merry Christmas to Me), I was rattling through the drawers and next to my magical crystals I found a dusty copy of Darwin's Origin of Species. This fascinating story of a young albino boy named Daniel was a sad tale of woe. Life was not kind to Daniel (as were the kids at school) as he spent most of the daylight hours cooped up inside a dry cleaners with is mother. His only solace came from his pet guinea pigs who he loved dearly. It's important to note at this point that the guinea pigs played a central role in the metaphor for David's life (as an albino), as he had to kill them to death with his fists, as described in the gruesome but entertaining chapter "ohh mamma, smash dem guinea pigs"
If this book was made into a feature length film, and I would consider Winona Ryder for the role of the witchdoctor as she has experience of being in shit films such as Alien 4
In review, I decided not to finish reading this book, but instead, eat cheese & Wine...
