Avoid like the plague!

What's the point of supporting a product that can be completely screwed overnight by means of a compulsory "Upgrade"? There's no way to roll it back to something that works. Google is not responsive to it's mistakes and accepts no liability for rendering your hardware completely useless.
In my case, the particular Chromepox I purchased no longer functions as a PDF viewer. That functionality is gone, it disappeared after a compulsory "Upgrade". I literally only used the Chromepox for reading PDF's. Now, it's just a £300 box sitting there doing absolutely nothing.
Google's "Ninja" response: Yes, we confirm there is a PDF viewer problem with your particular model Chromepox - but if you have another PC in the house, you could setup Chrome's "remote desktop" to view PDF's from that other (Windows) PC on the screwed up Chromepox!
Really?... How unbelievable is that!
VERDICT: It might work a month or a year, but at any time, you could wake up one morning and BOOM! It's been "Upgraded"! Now it's totally worthless to you. You may have to wait months for another "Upgrade" that "fixes" the problem - that's if Google ever decides to address that particular problem... and there's no guarantee that every problem will get fixed. None!
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
