A siler star among Christmas books,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Gift of Christmas (Paperback)This beautiful tale of Christmas-inspired generosity is bright and colourful and will appeal to young children, especially once the silver stars of the tree come into view at the end of the story.
Molly Mouse needs to decorate her Christmas tree, but all the objects she wishes to use belong to someone else. Initially the other animals - the cat, the fox, the dog - refuse to allow her to take their belongings but then change their minds "maybe because it was Christmas" and layer upon layer of the tree is decorated.
Of course, it takes some real Christtmas magic to complete the decorating process, but the reader will be as charmed as the woodland creatures by the result. A lovely book which shows the benefits of sharing.
