Fantastic HDMI 2 way splitter!,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Cablesson - 2 Way HDMI SPLITTER BOX 1x2 Port (1 x 2) (1 input 2 output) - Active Amplifier ** 3D Enabled ** (Electronics)
Really happy with this purchase, it does exactly what it says in the description with fantastic quality, the sync is perfect between the two TV's, the audio is really clear like it should and the picture is fantastic!
Setting the device couldn't be any more simpler, make sure you have three HDMI cables (one for the device & two for the TV's); connect your device to the 'HDMI IN' port, then connect your TV's HDMI cables to 'HDMI OUT', ones goes in '1' & the other in '2', finally connect the power cable then plug it in and your done, turn on the device & TV's and let the little box do it's job! It took me less than a minute to set-up.
I have also uploaded a short video to show you briefly what the splitter looks like when it's set-up and of course the results of the TV's (16"LED HDTV & 40"LED FULL HDTV).
Overall I couldn't be happier, so top marks from me!

Nice, I might have to get this for my PS3, I've just got a Samsung HD monitor so I was thinking of using both 32" TV and monitor for my PS3 (just wondering if its easy to switch from PS3 to PC).

Either just swap the cables around, or if your monitor has both HDMI and DVI slots, connect your PS3 via HDMI and PC through DVI (or VGA), that way you can switch the channels over for a quicker swap. :)

From the image of the item to be sold, it looks like one just gets the splitter box but not any cables? Is that right? And for an HDMI-splitter-newbie, what cables should I be ordering? (Thx in advance, Euphrosene

Crikey, it's been four years since I reviewed this... I'm pretty certain it didn't come with any HDMI cables.
In total you will need three HDMI cables (One to connect your device to the splitter, the other two to go to the TV's).
I user Amazon's own brand HDMI cables which do the job fine: AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable. Just check they're the right lengths for your needs.

Many thanks for replying. I'm going to take a punt and just order the Chromecast without splitter thingy as I feel the other ports are also HDMIs as well (on the Samsung model I have). If not, then thanks for this as I'll know what to order :)
