This review is from: Real Cider Making on a Small Scale (Paperback)
Its easy to make your own cider and this book is quite literally the "bible" for first timers, and a useful ongoing reference (abv tables etc) for second- and third-timers.
The pictures are circa the early 80's I think so the book has a retro feel. Its a little scary because its brave enough to tell you what can go wrong - but reassuring as it tells you whqat to do or how to avoid mistakes.
Lost a point because it needs a little bit of an update - things like buying the (very cheap) Vigo Pulpmaster to save hours pounding pulp, and more guides to help understand what the taste points are.
Overall, there simply isnt a better book on this subject.
