Excellent, but fatally flawed,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Razer Naga MMO Epic Wireless 5600DPI Gaming Mouse (Accessory)
Here's the summary:-
Excellent ergonomics along with the three switches.
12 buttons are a godsend, MMO's or not.
Performance is great when it works
Does not work in wireless mode. It would work for maybe a couple of minutes or some hours, then stop working altogether, the only way is to connect it to the USB cable and set the switch to wired. Really useless when this is a premium "wireless" mouse. This is the single most biggest flaw and why I've had to send two of these back as they're defective and unusable. We weary, it might be 2.4Ghz interference as well.
Tracking speed/dpi would change randomly between wireless and wired mode, despite removing the on the fly sensitivity settings in the Driver Software.
The forward/back buttons have been moved away from the thumb area to under the wheel mouse from previous versions, and this is very bizarre and uncomfortable, but you get used to it.
Also, I have to say the switching between wired/wireless is not as seamless as they say, it requires removing the cable from the dock, putting it in to the mouse and switching to Wired/Charging mode, but that means the cursor stops working for several seconds.
I wish it used either a different radio or didn't break down for no reason.
Razer Support has been helpful (but takes a while to respond by email) but they've no clue why Wireless mode doesn't work.
