This review is from: Shiver (Paperback)This book, to me was utterly amazing! I loved the way that the chapters are shared from the point of view of both Grace and Sam; it really helps you imagine what they are both feeling and get into the story alot quicker.
The basic plot (without giving anything away) goes a bit like this:
Grace is facinated by the wolves in the woods at the back of her garden, but particuarly by one yellow eyed one. She only has a vague recolection of the time when she was dragged into the woods by one of them, and brutally bitten- but one thing she does remeber is those yellow eyes staring at her...
Several years later, now 17, she shares a normal life with her two mates Rachel and Olivia. But everything gets turned upside down when local teenager, Jack dissapears, and she resues her beloved wolves from a hunting party, only to find a yellow eyed boy shot in the neck lying on her kitchen floor when she returns.
So now, it is up to Grace to keep her wolf boy away from the bitter winter, or else it may be the last time she sees him.
A gripping and tear jerking love story, that will have you hooked from the very first page...
