This review is from: London's Railways Map 1897: A Coloured Map of the Railway Network That Helped to Make London the Greatest City in the World (Map)
I have an original linen backed edition of this map, (somewhere), so I knew fairly well what it would look like. This shews what lines were available on the day that Oscar Wilde was released from Reading. (He took a Great Western train from Twyford to Westbourne Park). It includes also some tram routes. I intend to use this map in conjunction with other maps of London through the ages and railway books published by Old House Books and available though Amazon. It's a good purchase. Have fun!
