Not fully compatible with Virgin V+ Box,
This review is from: One For All URC7962 Smartcontrol Motion Remote (Accessory)
This remote requires 4 AAA batteries. The packaging came with none. I wished they had included them or at least warned you to save you the hassle to run down the shop to get the batteries. Most important of all, I had to return this remote control because it was not fully compatible with Virgin V+ Box. All it could do was turn it on and off. Most of the other functions simply didn't work. I tried the "learning" option and it still did not work. It also did not work fully with my Samsung 40" LCD TV. It refused to learn the function to switch between different input sources.

Hello Gordon Chi,
I understand that you cannot operate the Virgin V+ box.
This seems odd since we have a perfect code 1987 that will work all functions of the Virgin V+.
We also have all codes for Samsung LCD TV's. Please let me know the modelnumber of the Samsung so I can provide the perfect code for you.

Assuming this newer URC7962 uses the same or slightly newer code list as the URC7960, it will definitely control a Virgin V+ or TiVo box. On the URC7960 I use 2563 as a default code on the STB input, and apart from thumbs up/down and one or two other things I needed to teach it using EFCs rather than the 975 learning mode, it does every single function. Much nicer form factor than the original TiVo remote, too.
