Think of Roger Corman!,

I hope I don't come over as a "know it all" cos I'm not, but all the critics (and by no means just for this film) who say what rubbish the CGI are, whilst they are correct, are they not perhaps missing the point? Who remembers Roger Corman and "Teenage Caveman" and "Attack of the Crab Monsters" etc., and how we all mocked the men in monster suits and ridiculous "monsters". He was constrained by Budget (lack of), and so must the presnt day film makers suffer the same fate. Therefore the CGI effects are cheaper and the equivalent of Corman's monsters. There now...This film is of course pretty awful, but quite a lot of it is fun in a daft, sometimes unintentional way. It is repetive with it's sharks and illogical in it's plot, But I still kind of went along with it. I also wanted to see what Peta Wilson looked like now (yes Amazon, she is top billed), and, let's be polite, she has filled out a bit (so have I) and really doesn't look happy here at all, and I can't blame her. I've never heard of anyone else, and yes, there is an "annoying little blonde". There also many many shots of gorgeous skimpy bikini clad girls who have nothing to do with the plot such as it is (others have described it better than I can be bothered to). It' 86' long, with excellent print and sound, and price. We watched it with wine which probably helped. Some will love it, some will completely dismiss it as utter rubbish. You have to make your own mind up, but I favour viewing it! There I've said it!
