A must for Stephen Fry fan,
This review is from: The Fry Chronicles (Hardcover)
This isn't an ordinary autobiography. But Stephen Fry is no ordinary person. I love how he goes off on tangents, then with one sentence, pulls the seemingly disparate points together. I love how he plays with words. Every chapter title and section heading in the book begins with the letter C. And I appreciate that, rather than simply commenting on his life's events and achievements, he gives the reader a glimpse of how his mind works.
His first autobiography, "Moab is my Washpot", covered his childhood and adolescent years, ending with him locked up for credit card theft. "The Fry Chronicles" covers his adult life from age 20 to his early 30s, also ending with a cliffhanger. But I won't spoil it for you.
I'm an American fan of Stephen Fry who purchased this book through Amazon UK.
