A great resource for beginners and improvers alike,

It has a comprehensive introduction, which covers the benefits of weight training and the basic equipment needed. The exercises are described well and the photographs give a good visual example of how the exercises should be carried out. There are four routines of 10, 20, 30, and 40 minutes' duration, which makes it easy to fit in even a small amount of exercise into your day. The programmes, ranging from 7 days to 30 days in length, look good as they alternate enough that boredom should be avoided, although I've not tried them yet. I use the book as a reference point for work in the gym as well as at home and I've found it very helpful in varying my workouts.
The small amount of equipment required and short amounts of time needed for the routines within this book make it an invaluable resource.
