A good basic cycle computer,

This review is from: Sigma Bc1009 10 Function Cycle Computer - Black (Sports)
Got this as my first computer for a bike as I'm used to having useful data at my fingertips in the car. I went for this model as the wired connection is a lot cheaper than wireless, and the latest models can upload to a PC (note that this requires a cradle and software available seperatly for ~ 30).
Installation was straightforward when following the supplied instructions. It's important to get the sensor matching the wheel magnet and close by (under 5mm). For my bike that meant mounting lower than expected. All it's doing is getting a pulse when the wheel passes, so it doesn't matter that it's halfway down the fork. It was a little confusing selecting my wheel size, but once figured out no problem and won't need doing again. It seems to work well, starting when I move off and stopping when I stop. The buttons are a little tricky when on the move, but all cycle computers would have the same issues. Removing it from the bike is no problem, and it's light weight.
A couple of points that lose that 5th star for me: No details on the upload to PC (read the Sigma website to find out it's more hardware and software); It's always on, when I expected to be able to turn it off, although it does just show the time. The battery is suposed to last 2 years.
