Good idea that works,

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I was really interested in trying one of these alarm clocks, supposedly waking you naturally without a big loud shock to the system like a normal alarm.
First of all, it was easy to set up, the controls were easy to use and I like the touch-sensitive buttons at the bottom of the clock. It also looks really nice, if a bit big, and the curved design makes it look neater and somehow more organic. You can adjust the light level, the sound level, and choose from 3 different types of bird song or use the radio as your alarm call. You can also just use it as a radio or as a lamp, in addition to the alarm clock.
What I don't really like, and what I think could be improved, is the buttons around the edge of the circular face that control the light, radio, alarm and snooze. It takes me an age to find each button as they are set into the case with just a little raised picture sticking out to help you find them. It would be much easier either to have bigger buttons sticking out, or labels on the circular face telling you where each button is. This is the one thing that made me drop a star for this clock.
And does it work? I still find waking to bird song quite a novelty, but I do seem less tired and sleepy. My husband, however, says that it has had no effect on his sleepiness, so perhaps it depends on the person. Worth a try though!
