How To Tell Real USB Memory Capacity,
This review is from: U-disk 256gb USB 2.0 Flash Drive Memory Stick in a box (Electronics)
' Dishonest' / fake capacity USB Flash drives usually have some workable memory
at the beginning of the drive.
First Format the thing to any file system you like (usually FAT32.).
To test, copy a Video file of say around 300mb to the drive than another copy of the same
(separately) then another etc. etc. . The drive will have "file.avi" "Copy of File.avi"
"Copy of Copy of File.avi" etc...
Now try and play the Video file from the Drive as way of testing weather it is really there.
Go one on this way to work out the actual capacity .
Remember to Format first this is to ensure that the files written do go to that 1st section.
