The video was taken on the so called 'Death Slide' in Vang Vieng, Laos.
I aggressively submerged my ZX5 in water throughout a 10 month period in Asia. I went snorkelling with it on Phu Quoc island in Vietnam, Tiamon Island in Malaysia, and Koh Chang Island in Thailand. Asides from using the camera in the Pacific Ocean, I also strapped it to my wrist whilst doing river water sports in Vang Vieng, Laos. From exposing the camera to the aforementioned environments, issues I have noticed are, on a single occasion the ZX5 froze causing the currently recording file to corrupt - this happened when I fell off a zip-line travelling at high speed and plummeted about 6 metres into a river with the camera strapped to my wrist - it was working fine the next day. The only permanent damage caused by all the aquatic activity are that both the SD slot and media port covers have become incredibly stiff - to the point at which I often have to use a flat head screwdriver to pry them open, but functionality wise, the camera is still working perfectly. I thought this was worth mentioning.
