5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 22 Jun. 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: LEGO Batman 2 - Limited Lex Luthor Toy Edition (Wii) (Video Game)
I got this 'for my son'. He's only played a few levels and they are big and the free roaming city is great. As for myself it is really great. The free roaming city is fantastic so far with various things to do. As I stated the levels are massive and the continuous story line is excellent. We've only completed a small portion of the game and so far its the best lego game yet, even better than Lego Star Wars the Clone Wars which I am a huge fan of. MUST BUY for us big kids oh and the little un's too. Doubles is excellent but kids bedtime can't come soon enough so I can play it by myself.

Could you tell me, in two player mode is it the new-fangled split screen like Clone Wars, or is it like the original Batman game?

Halihan says:
This is a new type of split screen for Lego games. Each player can go off on their own like in the Clone Wars, but instead of that annoying diagonal spinning split screen, the Batman 2 version has a solid line straight down the middle which doesn't move around. Its like two separate screens, if that makes sense?

In reply to an earlier post on 10 Jul 2012 07:33:37 BDT
No, the split is SOMETIMES straight, but at other times it spins.
