This book is great, to the point and contains information which will help you in many ways.
I have done a quite a few sportives and also the London to Paris, but this book made me realise that my training plans hadn't been as good as I thought they were! I also struggle to recover after the events and on reflection, I was cramming too many miles in at the weekend to compensate for missing the important quality shorter rides in the week. I have adjusted my training program for the coming season and am sure I will reap the benefits!!! I have also ditched the gym and am going to concentrate on having more time for cycling/training which was a decision I made with the help of the book, and I already feel liberated and £50 a month better off ;-) Thanks Rebecca, a great read and great advice!
