This review is from: TeckNetŪ NEW Kindle 4 Premium Folio Case / Cover With Magnetic Clasp for NEW Amazon Kindle 4 / 6 inch / 2011 generation / Book Style - Includes Kindle Rear Protector - Brown
Am pleased enough with this item to offer a review. Well made, with a sturdy, reinforced front and back, additional to which is padding for extra protection, the TeckNet Kindle cover offers a good value alternative to the pricier options. For me, I was particularly keen on having a left-sided clasp, rather than the more common right-side versions that you see around, because I felt that the right-side ones always present a distraction with the clasp hanging up and over, whereas with it on the left, it is held away from the eye's field of focus on the page, and so is less noticeable. The price of this feature is that when you put the Kindle down, effectively you're resting it on its' front in order to lie it flat, but for me I felt that was a worthwhile compromise since it was more important how it all worked when the Kindle is actually in use. Like others have noted, the bottom of the slipcase sits just a little bit too high to be able to comfortably use the 'down' function on the main pad. In my case, two short cardboard sprues were used, folded over and pushed into each side. They're invisible to the eye, but do the job of raising the Kindle the 2 or 3 millimetres required to provide easy access to the function button. A pleasing addition was the velcro fold-over tab at the top of the slipcase too, since it ensures that you're Kindle won't slide out and potentially break, even though the case is a snug fit anyway. All in all, a respectable bit of kit which I am happy to declare confidence in.

Thank you for your suggestion of putting two pieces or cardboard to raise the Kindle slightly so that the 'down' function button is more accessible. I have done just that and now this case is perfect. Thank you.
