2.0 out of 5 stars Capacity?, 7 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: InfoTechnicaŽ WHITE 10000mAh Stainless steel only 9mm thin Travel Power Bank External battery pack Backup Portable Charger for iPadŽ, iPadŽ 2/3/4, iPhoneŽ 5, iPhoneŽ 4, iPhoneŽ 4S, iPodŽ, Blackberry, HTC, Android, Samsung and many more - Now with Free Travel Pouch and iPhoneŽ 5 8pin connector/adapter head. (10000mAh 9mm thin stainless steel body, WHITE) (Electronics)
First, the product works, which is a good start for anything imported from China and is not always a given.

Second, the instruction booklet is written in ridiculously poor English but then it is made in China.

Third, the product does not recharge as many times as I had hoped.

After fully charging it, so that all four blue lights are lit (when switched on), it has only lasted one 70% charge of a Sony phone and one full charge of a tablet before it required recharging.

For 10000mAh I expected it to last for 4-5 recharges of the phone at least, but no. So no good for a weekend unless you have ability to recharge the bank on your travels which sort of defeats its purpose. Good enough for daily power back up, but not for taking on holiday.

T. Spike says:
In description is stated that this power bank will charger mobile phone upto 4 times.
When 4th light go on it means that power bank is charged at 75% and is charging towards 100%
1 light 0 - 25%, of charge
2 lights 25% - 50% of charge
3 lights 50% - 75% of charge
4 lights 75% -100% of charge
Regarding the tablets it depends what battery capacity has tablet. For example iPad 4 has 11,560 mAh which is bigger that this power bank and you will not be able to fully charge iPad 4 with this power bank.
Costing 16.95 this power bank is currently best value on the market for the amount of capacity you are getting.
