battery doesnt charge 2nd time failed in a year,
This review is from: PURE Oasis Flow, Rechargeable Weatherproof DAB/FM/Internet Radio (Electronics)
I actually bought this radio for my husband for his work, but when i saw how good it looked, i commandeered it for our en suite, I'm really happy with the sound quality and the look of this radio and its really great to use in the morning, i can listen to radio stations from the UK while im in the shower in my home in France, and my husband then turns it to his local radio station from Denmark, how small the world is becoming! I have set up the link with my computers music files and used it once, but i find all that too geeky for me and the radio is just fine,
The reason i can only give this a 3 star is because the battery has not charged for the second time in less than a year, the first time it happened, the radio was about 6 months old, i reported it to PURE website and they posted me out a new charger immediately.
Its almost 12 months old now and i went to unplug it and put it in another room today and its again gone totally flat and wont charge or turn on even with the charger plugged in (same problem as last time) so i think there is a fault with this product unless its just my bad luck that i got the dodgy one.

I have the same issue. Amazon have been great about it and are sending out another. Just hope it doesn't happen again. My other "flow" devices have been good.

Just an update on the Oasis flow, I contacted Pure Uk, as bought from Amazon UK, as it was almost a year old and wouldnt turn on,and they told me to contact Pure in France,(they also contacted Pure France on my behalf) I sent the unit off to the emailed prepayed address label, and recieved a brand new slightly updated unit 2 days later,I was totally amazed how quick they were, so for customer service i give them 5 stars.

I bought 1 in december, which died on me today.
I bought another in february (because I was happy with the first one), which died on me last month.
Let's see what amazon/PURE will do...

I had the same problem with an older version of this radio and saw on a forum that the battery needs to be charged in a warm place. I found a socket near a radiator and it works a treat - no more problems! It might be worth trying with yours...

I have an earlier version of this and I called Pure they say the radio has to be above 18 degrees C to charge. I have found that it does charge if you put it somewhere warm, and doesn't if it is cold.
hope that helps saves sending it back
