Having never really read a lot of pulp fiction, I was tempted into buying this because it was a compilation of tales from female authors. Girl power, I thought. And girl power I got. A great, high-octane mix of sci-fi, fantasy, crime, and good old blood, guts and gore, this is a great introduction to genre fiction and I read it cover to cover in one sitting.
