Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This product is very easy and reliable to use. One nice feature is when the batteries are fully charged the Leds extinguish. The product does exactly what was written on the box and is reliable. The only down side is that pp3 batteries take approx 13 hours to charge.

Simon Butler says:
Can you confirm that the LEDs extinguish when the cells are charged, and not simply when the timer cut-out acts? A charge indicator would be surprising on a charger this cheap. Try switching it off for a moment after charging is complete, then on again - I suspect the LED(s) will simply come on again for the timer period.

I tried this because it seemed to me the green light was going out way too soon. For a 9v battery the leaflet says 13 hrs (I'm assuming that's for 1 battery, not 2) but the light went out in about 8 hrs. I switched it off and on again and the light went on again, so I think your suspicions are correct.
