Well I guess my curiousity is satisfied.
I managed to convince myself that the author's grammar couldn't get any worse than the first book.
I was wrong!
I am 15% through book 2 and unfortunately there are just so many words missing, misused or mispelt, it's a bit like reading the work of a child.
Please author take note when you "dragged" something it is not "drug" something, widely used and really irritating.
begun instead of began, it instead of it's or it is, had instead of hadn't or had not, server instead of serve, if instead of is.
I know I must sound picky, but when you consider those mistakes alongside their instead of there and his instead of him, it does get to be a bit much!
The weird thing is there are whole chapters in the story where there are almost no mistakes!
It's a great pity because the story itself is not bad and can be quite entertaining, if you can make yourself read through the mistakes? (rhetorical:p)

G. Moore says:
I agree! The English is appalling! As good a yarn as the story is, the way that the language has been massacred is quite distracting. I do think that giving the book just one star is a little harsh though....

I have to agree with the above comments. I liked the story line and found the story a good read but the hunt for the sword in the catacombs was so long I skipped through it. I feel that the story was worth the mistakes and as I love to read and the fact that it is such good value I would say,"yes value for money go for it". I would love to be able to write a story and when I read my efforts I have to admire those that can. He would need a good proof reader though. I did check the word "drug" in the dictionary as I have never seen it before thought it was new! I will buy book three, I hate books that go on and on though
