This review is from: Roberts Classic DAB2 DAB/DAB+/FM Digital Radio with Simple Presets - Champagne (Electronics)
I purchased this radio about 18 months ago with a view to installing my favourite 3 radio stations as presets and using it in the garden. After much hassle installing just 1 of the presets I gave up on the other 2. 6 batteries are required to get this radio under way and 6 Duracells were installed. After just a few hours use the illuminated screen began flashing and the signal started to break up. Assuming external forces were at work, I installed another 6 batteries, but again the radio stopped working after just a few hours. If you're going to use mains power for this radio, and you've got a few hours to study the instructions for installing stations, then fine - if not, then I do NOT recommend this radio.

It is a well known fact that DAB sucks energy from batteries in no time. FM should give much longer battery life.
