Cheesy vocals annoy me,
This review is from: Rids The World Of The Evil Curse Of The Vampires (Audio CD)
I have quite a lot of reggae, mainly dub, and mainly from the seventies, in my cd collection. This one and a couple of others by Scientist (e.g. 'Scientist Wins the World Cup') are among my least favourite. More than anything, it's the cheesy vocals.

Ram McD says:
What cheesy vocals? you mean the Wailing Souls, Wayne Jarrett, Michael Prophets voices that beautifully fade in & out of the tracks.... I doubt anyone wouldn't enjoy them, unless you've got hearing problems or a bit sick!!!
Or do you mean the intro's by Jah T. that last about 3 second on a few tracks, that wouldn't be out-of-place in any rub-a-dub dance?
By the way this was a 1981 lp not a 70's one.
One thing this lp & the World cup lp have in common is the new (at the time) SynDrum that intrudes on several cuts... maybe you mistook these electronic sounds for the voices of high-pitched, cheesy' singing? LOL
