This review is from: Ark Angel: Bk. 6 (Alex Rider) (Paperback)
The sixth amazing thriller by Anthony Horowitz. Alex Rider is in hospital when a group of eco-terrorists break in called Force 3. They intend to kidnap Alex's next-door neighbour Paul Drevin. Once again, even ill, Alex is back in action. He is soon kidnapped (mistaken for Drevin), however escapes. Drevin was supposed to be maimed! Nikolei Drevin, his father, thanks Alex for saving his son. Alex is invited to see the final launch of the project Ark Angel, the first revolutionary space hotel. Force 3 attack and Alex ends up in space himself. Nikolei is a master, secret criminal who made up Force 3, only to later kill them himself. All the evidence gathered against him is kept in the Pentagon, America - his space hotel has cost him too much, so he plans to blow it up and secretly guide it to hit the Pentagon. This could destroy 1000s of people! Alex stops it and moves the bomb into the heart of Ark Angel, so all the pieces disintegrate before reaching earth. Next thing Alex know, he's floating in the sea in a tiny space capsule, hundreds of miles away from land...
I read this when I did Readathon at school. I'm in year 8 at the moment.
