significant flaws for me,
This review is from: BT 2000 Cordless DECT Phone (Pack of 2) (Electronics)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
There is a lot of competition in the market for portable, remote phones and BT have done themselves no favours with this model, which has a couple of significant niggles compared to my previous model.
First, the cable connecting the base to the phone wall socket is shorter than my current model (another BT), meaning that I would have had to redesign the room to switch over to using this phone - no thanks! Unfortuately, BT somehow manage to contrive that each of their models only works with the cable supplied, so what should have been a simple 5-minute operation of switching my existing home base-wall socket cable for the new, shorter one did not work at all - I just got a dead line.
Second, I'm fairly sure that the new phone's operation interfered with my internet signal: even the suggestion of this weighed my decision not to replace my existing phone with this new model. A pity, because one of the significant advantages that it did have over my current phone was the earpiece volume - louder and clearer.
However, the drawbacks are significant and should have been designed out.
