I wasn't a fan,
This review is from: Live In London (Audio CD)
I bought tickets for Leonard Cohen's Lisbon concert as a gift for my wife and just went along to keep her company. I was amazed at the energy and beauty of this concert, it was the most memorable live show I have ever seen. Leonard Cohen isn't just an old man doing his old songs, it still 'works'. When a 70 year-old sings "I have tried, in my way, to be free" it is even more poignant than when he was 35. A real night to remember.

I too was not a big fan..Leonard Cohen happened to be performing in the fabulous St. Marks Square, Venice whilst my Husband (who is a big fan) and I were on our honeymoon there. We spent some of our wedding gift money on the tickets...and I can honestly say that it was the best wedding gift imaginable. To hear this great maestro in such a wonderful setting was truly a privilege and a joy. I am now a confirmed fan and will continue to be so.

Was this review written by me? Well, it could have. I too went to a Leonard Cohen's concert with my wife. I wasn't a fan, my wife is. After the concert I got his CDs on my iPod.
I actually bought my wife this CD when I wasn't able to get the concert tickets, but later on we were able to get the tickets, so we were lucky enough to see him live, AND get this great CD!
