This review is from: Asus 24-inch VH242H Wide Gaming LCD TFT Monitor (5ms, Full HD, HDMI, Black) (Personal Computers)This is a great monitor. I upgraded from a 3 year old 19 inch LCD HP monitor that i got when i bought my computer.
I bought this one mainly for the fact it has HDMI input for my PS3 and for the Size of the screen.
I was amazed at how much bigger it is compared to my old one. Its only 4 inches bigger but seems much more.
The picture quality is fantastic, especially when playing PS3 in full 1080p HD. The 3 inputs are very handy as I have my PC connected with VGA, my Xbox 360 with DVI and my PS3 with HDMI, all 3 can be acsessed with just one button.
Overall i would highly recommend this monitor as it is very good value for money.

Hello have you tried looking at this monitor from a distance like you would a tv,and have you also tried connecting your monitor to hi fi speakers?

Its not to bad from a distance but as a T.V. its not best as it has no remote control. I've got a set of P.C. speakers wired in to mine and they work fine.

BB. I bought the said product. Picture fine but how do you get good sound on PS3 without a processor

Just plug in a pair of P.C. Speakers or a surround sound kit in to the audio port next to where the screen inputs are.

Well if you still haven't found the answer how to do it, you can do so with this TeckNet Xbox 360 VGA Component Audio Cable & 2RCA Cable or 4Gamers VGA HD AV Cable (Xbox 360)
But to be honest though you would be better off if you have more than one HDMI output devices and one HDMI port on the HD Monitor to get this Duronic Mini 3 Port Gold HDMI Auto Switch 3x1 (3 way input 1 output HDMI Switcher), as connecting the XBOX 360 via DVI only outputs at 720P and not full HD (1080P).
