An inspiring book for the modern vegan,

Having been a vegetarian for around ten years I have condsidered becoming a vegan to boost my immune system and have a general feeling of well being. 'The new vegan'was my bible- I found the book very supportive in my decision to become a vegan.
In 'The New Vegan' Amanda Grant offers practical advice, tips and tantalising recipes to show that veganism is not boring but a modern way of achieving a balanced diet. Her easy to prepare recipes leave you spoilt for choice with recipes ranging from Asia to Europe. A vast array of unusual and nutritious meals are available to vegans. The great thing about the recipes is that they work and taste great!( I am particularly fond of the chocolate, raspberry and hazelnut cake- everyone should try it!)
Above all I really enjoyed Amanda Grant's warm, encouraging nature, her understanding of a modern, hectic lifestyle and appreciation of the reader's desire to achieve a balanced diet. A truly inspiring book. I love it.
