Great, fun read,

This review is from: Stalemate (The Red Gambit Series Book 3) (Kindle Edition)
Just like the previous books in the series, this was a great fun and entertaining read. The pacing is excellent and the action sequences well crafted.
It seems strange to mention 'research' when you are commenting on AH - however, I really do appreciate when authors take the time to get their facts right.
Looking forward to part 4.

Thanks for your comments. You ruined my five star consistency though :-) Impasse is actually out now, so I hope you will enjoy that equally, if not more so. Research is all-important, whether it be a big item in the books, or a tiddler in the biographies. I set out my stall not to set myself up. Alas, with one set of FAA Squadrons, I did the research and then transferred my results wrongly into the book. That was really annoying I can tell you. There will be some things that are a matter of opinion. Where there are matters of fact, I research heavily and try hard to get it right. Mind you, an author is only as good as the answers he receives when exploring for detail, but, thus far, I'm quite satisfied across the board. I did all my weapons, tank and anti-tank research many years ago, and that is still current. I have purchased deactivated WW2 weapons so that I may better understand their use and foibles. I drive around Europe to simply look upon a field, or a hill, or a bridge, just to get a feel for what could happen there. Fortunately, I sell enough books to be able to fund that. It's important to me to get things as right as they can be. I will make mistakes, but it won't be for a lack of effort on my part! Thanks again for your review.
