...captivating melodies and fascinating stories...,

Right, pay attention at the back. I don't want you making the same mistake I did when I first played this. See, I was doing summat else at the time, and within about a minute I'd mentally filed it away as twee folk.
And to a certain extent it it. But once I sat down, put some headphones and, and actually started to listen to it properly, I was captivated. Because, tucked away in the midst of the sweet melodies are some absolutely splendid stories.
They're not big stories, and sometimes they're not even clever stories, but they are real stories. And with such an engaging storyteller, you're always keen to find out how it's going to end. Maybe coming to songwriting at the comparatively late age of 29 has given Ms Garmeson a more defined perspective on things. Whatever, it's a treat.
I think I've played this record every day for a week now, and there's no sign of songs like 'Who's The Daddy?' and 'Shut Up And Kiss Me' losing their charm yet.
