When I began following Feeder back in 1997, I was instantly excited by the rythmic chords ringing through my ears.
After 5 albums (+2 B-side releases) and many gigs, in my eyes, Feeder are a band that will simply never be beaten on the quality of the sounds they produce. This latest edition of their work moves further from the highly emotional 'Comfort in Sound' to produce a really rocky, but at the same time, a mellow and relaxing aura. Recently I heard a man say that Feeder had gone soft. I would personally like to detach his ears from his head, if Feeder are soft now, then they always have been (radioman, tinseltown and swim for instance are no less soft than frequency and dove grey sands).
To finish, you should buy this album, and then, if you havn't already, go and see them live! No other band that I have witnessed can stir its loyal supporters up so well! Long live FEEDER!!!
