1.0 out of 5 stars Thank god thats over, 21 Jan 2010
This review is from: Doctor Who - Winter Specials 2009 - Waters of Mars and The End of Time [DVD] (DVD)
I am pleased that this is the last we will be seeing of David T as the doctor . I did not like his portral of the doctor and i would go as far to say he was the worst ever . This is because i did not find him engaging to the viewer and remote .
Also thank god that Russell T has gone aswell , too many of the stories are meaningless and references to homosexaulity , ie that stupid bit at the end where DT introduces Capt J to some young 'chicken' . This does not belong in Doctor Who

My word, what a homophobic idiot you are. Do enlighten us with what does 'belong' in Dr.Who then.

I was about to ask you the same thing Pub Landlord.

As A. Tutt asks, please do enlighten us as to what does belong in Dr.Who?

In support this reviewer's post and opinion, and speaking as someone who is categorially not homophobic, I would say that what "does belong" in Dr who is thrills, chills and all round great family entertainment. Not the Doctor setting blokes up with a gay date in a bar.

StormSworder says:
"Chicken" is slang for an underage boy.

A. Customer says:
No it's not, "chicken" is slang for a younger man, usually in their early 20s. It's an american term, and not used much in the UK, it's dated and dead now.
