Agnetha was always my favourite abba singer, her first two solo albums were fantastic, and as the eighties progressed, Agnetha noticably gained more confidence in her work, as her solo career was far more successful than that of Frida, this alum I stand Alone, is a lot different to her first two albums, which were euro pop, this is more american in style, but is equally just as good as her other albums.
Agnetha's new look is stunning and her voice is sharp and clear, she's the best ! I recommend you give it a go!

Please remember that Frida's first album of the 80s outsold every solo piece that the other three did since, despite relevant successes. In the US alone-the only stupid place to arrogantly and consistently resist UK and European music, espcially when it's of a high standard, 'Something's Going On' reached the Top 40, no mean feat and sold many copies there, bolstered by the massive success of the leading single, which was a hit in most places.
Agnetha's style was always safer and more easier on the ear than the vibrant and more experimental Frida, so naturally more were going to go for her, mainly cos she was most people's 'fave' from Abba, irrespective of the quality of her stuff vs. Frida. Nonetheless it goes without saying that all albums both girls released in the 80s should have sold far more than they did, but what do you expect from idiotic record buyers who only want 'Dancing Queen' recorded again and again and not let them breathe alone?
