This review is from: The Israeli Solution: A One-State Plan for Peace in the Middle East (Hardcover)
This is written by a lady who really knows what she is talking about. She was involved at a frontline level in the peace talks between the Palestinians and Israelis, and was a personal adviser to Benjamin Netanyahu. Now a journalist, her writing style is extremely readable and understandable, and is able to spell out the truth about the disastrous '2 State solution' that is being rigorously, and unsuccessfully pursued by US and Western governments. It is eye-opening about the level of deliberate ignorance and refusal to listen to the reality of the situation regarding the ideology that drives the Arab world, and even in the face of outright Arab/Palestinian declarations that they will NEVER admit to Israel's right to exist, therefore removing any platform for negotiation, the Western powers continue to pour money, political energy and appeasement towards a group of people who are as open to this as Hitler was to Macmillan before the 2nd World War! Brilliant book, must be read by everyone.

K. D. Cooper says:
I have picked Mrs. Munro's 5 star review in particular, because of her belief that it was Macmillan that dealt with Hitler. It wasn't. It was Neville Chamberlain.
The fact of the matter is that there is no solution. The author of this book has demonstrated this. I admit that I have not read it, but it would seem to be very one-sided. It is the "ideology that drives the Arab world, and even in the face of outright Arab/Palestinian declarations that they will never admit Israel's right to exist" That in itself is proof of my claim.
Solutions involving people must be found that respect them. Impositions will never succeed. And that is, if I am right in my understanding of what this book asserts, is precisely what the author proposes.
I refer to 3 books, and would recommend that before agreeing with this author, those who have given this book 5 stars read them with an open unbiased mind: 1. "Against our Better Judgment" which looks at the disaster of the creation of the state of Israel, on land that was mainly inhabited by Muslims and Christians; 2. Ilan Pappe's "The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine" The author is a Jewish citizen of Israel. 3. "Cursed Victory: A History of Israel and the Occupied Territories". 3. "Jewish-Run Concentration Camps in the Soviet Union" These were created by Stalin in 1935. But, and I quote from the book: "The original founders of the "Russian" Communist government, were overwhelmingly Jewish. Trotsky was one; and it was Lenin was part Jew, who spoke Yiddish. I ask the question, to be refuted, where did much of the Israeli population come from?
Does the author deal with all of this? If not, then she has let her readers down. Kenneth Cooper
