A pupil essay,

This review is from: Mousetrapped: A Year and A Bit in Orlando, Florida (Kindle Edition)
This book is poorly written and reminds me of reading pupils' essays on 'What I did on my holidays' (only I was paid for reading those...). If this author was sixteen or under then the writing, the very surface treatment of the subject matter, and the lack of coherent direction and continuity would be acceptable - but only as an essay and not as a published book.
Other people have mentioned certain parts of the book, such as the treatment of the visit to the NASA centre, and have said that they skipped such parts or found them difficult in some way; I have a suspicion that they might have been taken from elsewhere. These passages are written in a completely different style and contain many hard facts, often one after another in relatively indigestible chunks when compared with the rest of the book.
If you are a Disney lover and/or aficionado then there are many far better books than this; if you are thinking of working for Disney likewise (and, as other reviewers have pointed out, the author of this book was not employed by Disney); if you want a 'rough guide' to a Disney theme park then there are some good ones available (many in Kindle eBooks here on Amazon); if you are seeking a dissection of the Disney empire then that too is available. This book, sadly, does not cover or attempt any of these approaches.

Must disagree with your comments, the book is a joy to read and the enthusiasm that the author has for the area, Disney, Florida and the Space Shuttle comes through the page, the bit on religion could have been deleted but overall 95% of the book is 5 star, you are entitled to your opinion but 1 star is not fair.
