Good, but not a "must-read",
This review is from: The Infidelity Chain (Paperback)I've not heard of Tess Stimson before having read this. I picked it up as part of a 3 for 2 deal on books. The plot was intriguing, and although I enjoyed the book; it wasn't really a page turner.
It was interesting that Stimson gives the events from different perspectives, but I think she did this TOO much - there are ways to show different perspectives all in one scene. Stimson recreated scenes so much, half of the book is dedicated to re-telling you the same events from a different point of view. You're constantly beginning the new chapter with confusion, trying to work out whether you're in the past, present or the future.
I found elements of the storyline too unbelievable, which made me lose a little faith in her writing, but nevertheless, a decent read.
